Atlas International Movers has over 40 years of experience providing the highest quality relocation services to its private and commercial customers.

Founded in The Netherlands in 1981, Atlas International Movers originally operated as a local moving company until in 2011 when the company was acquired by Dees Peters who, with his relocation expertise, expanded the company’s operations to international relocations.

Dees Peters still oversees the growth of the organisation while Jan Koets manages the day-to-day operations in The Netherlands and continues to grow Atlas’s presence in the industry.

Atlas International Movers in The Netherlands strive to deliver the very highest customer service regardless of whether our customer is moving down the road, or across the globe.

Pleasant service during the moving process, but the insurance process takes a very long time. The move was carried out at the beginning of June and unfortunately damage was caused. Insurance completed the process in September.Pleasant move with professional people.

Atlas supported us with a move from the UK to NL. The initial advice, customs process for household goods, actual removals & unpacking were all very good!I deduct only one star due to misinformation on how to import the car (which increased how long it took to import/register it). Initial advice indicated that it would be included with the household goods. However, subsequently someone else indicated (from their personal experience) that nothing would have to be done regarding customs and one could just get in touch with the Dutch authorities after the move. (That is no longer the case since Brexit.) So: Don't advise on things from personal rather than professional experience.

Moving from Switzerland to the US (west coast). After looking into various companies, we opted for Atlas. It offered a competitive price for air freight (2 weeks) compared to the sea freight (3 months) of the competitors. We moved 4cbm, including several glassware. We got our belongings in the two weeks estimated and everything was intact, not a single broken item. The team has always been supportive, answering always in a timely matter. The packing and un-packing were fast and efficient. We could not be happier with the service we received.

Dees Peters

Owner and CEO of Atlas International Movers. Dees was born and raised in a family of International Movers. In 2011 he chose his own path and has successfully grown Atlas to where it stands today, always keeping the focus on quality, flexibility and looking after his staff.

Jan Koets

Commercial Director with over 20 years experience in the international moving and relocation industry. Jan has successfully implemented move management programs with corporate clients across the globe. Whether it be a centralized or decentralized program or a program via an RMC, Jan has the global network, vision and experience to support you.

Mitch Verbraeken

Mitch has been working in the industry since 2017, during this period he has fulfilled different job roles and gained experience in different areas of expertise. His innovative insights about the use of technology in the industry will help us to further develop solutions to support our clients and manage their needs.

Ciska Pieterse

After working in the hospitality industry for over 10 years Ciska joined Atlas International Movers in 2019. Her wealth of experience in the customer service and her natural skill to manage efficiently and effectively, never loosing eye for detail proofed the right mix to promote Ciska to her current role of operations director in 2022. In her role  she is responsible for customer service, quality and IT.

Charles van der Geest

Charles has extensive experience in the moving industry. He started his career in our industry more than 25 years ago and has all-round knowledge of both international and office relocation projects. With a bachelor’s degree in human resources management, he understands the needs of HR professionals. With his expertise, he advises business clients on their global relocation policy, always looking for the best solution for his clients.

Linda Boersma

Having lived abroad for many years as an expat, Linda knows exactly what our customers require. Linda uses her experience every day to help guide our clients to their new destination, providing them with relevant advise. Linda takes care of the majority of our in-home and video surveys. Linda is fluent in French and is our main contact for our French speaking clients.

Bob Bergenhenegouwen

Customer Service Manager. Bob has worked in the moving industry since 1995 and knows our industry inside out. Bob has the experience and insight on both the operations and customer service side which makes him the ideal Customer Service Manager. With his experience and knowledge he supports our clients across the globe.

Dennis van den Heuvel

Dennis has been working within the international moving industry for over 20 years. He has fulfilled several roles across Asia and holds all required certifications. Dennis joined us in 2019, he is the best man for this role and does an amazing job.

Frank Lek

Frank joined Atlas International Movers in January 2022 in the position of Finance & HR Director. Frank has over 30 years of experience in the field of finance and HR. His main tasks will be to implement new financial tools that will benefit Atlas and our clients, coach the finance team and take full responsibility for our financial reporting.

Sabine Huijsmans

Sabine joined the Atlas Finance team in June 2022. With more than 20 years of experience in financial and commercial departments at various companies, her knowledge and experience are a great addition to the financial department.

Liesbeth Agterberg

Liesbeth is a Financial Administration employee at Atlas International Movers. Liesbeth ensures that all our clients meet their payment obligations.

Corien Garcia

Corien  has been working in the moving industry for more than 6 years. Her experience, dedication for what she does and high focus on customer service make her a great asset to our team. As our Logistics Manager she is always on top of things.

Natalie Rees

Natalie is originally and previously worked in the financial sector in London. During her work she traveled to the Netherlands and fell in love with the country and decided to move there.  After having moved more than 10 times herself, the position of Move Manager suited her like a glove. Natalie has been working at Atlas since 2023.

Christina Flach

Originally from the UK, Christina started her carreer in the real estate industry. When she move to the Netherlands she decided to join Atlas in the role of Move Manager. This job combines all her favourite of her previous career path in one. Her drive to learn, her experience in customer service and ability to quickly oversee the entire process and service requirements of our clients, quickly brought her up to speed and she is become a highly valued colleague always going the extra mile to ensure client satisfaction.

Thekla Oosterhof

Thekla has always been interested in discovering the world. Based on that desire, she initially entered the world of tourism and has traveled extensively and seen many parts of the world. Before joining Atlas, Thekla worked for several years as an account manager in the offshore industry and as a marketer for a number of medical companies. Her wish was to work more in an international environment she now feels completely at home at Atlas International Movers.

Eric Entrop

Eric joined Atlas International Movers in the role of Senior Move Coordinator, with 8 years experience in the moving industry and education in logistics and customs affairs, Eric brings a wealth of knowledge to our organisation.

Esmee van der Does

Esmee works in our customer support team and ensures all our clients receive our transparent quotations timely. Esmee will follow up with our clients to ensure our quotations meet the requirments of our customers.
